Merlin and the Dragons

 Merlin has become on of the most famous wizards of all time thanks to his part in guiding King Arthur and their shared legends. However Merlin did have some adventures of his own, including one which told of a tower that would collapse every night, making it impossible for the local lord to protect his people. Merlin revealed this to be caused by two warring dragons, often shown as red and white to represent the warring Saxons and Britons who were fighting to become to true rulers of England at the time.

This is fantasy artist Anthony Christou’s own interpretation of this classic legend. Allowing him to explore some of his favourite subjects of Dragons and world legends.
