Mermaid Queen Aphrodite

Greek legends tell of how the Goddess Aphrodite was born from the ocean. Powerful and beautiful this was the inspiration when award winning fantasy artist, Anthony Christou designed his own Mermaid Queen for his popular fantasy series, Luminous Ages.

While many characters in Luminous Ages are powerful magicians there are also many more people who cannot use magic themselves. In order to aid these non-magical groups magicians have created magical artefacts which they have intrusted to the non-magical groups rulers. For this reason it was important that the trident the Queen of mermaids possessed was shown to be a magnificent and powerful magical item.
