Portal of Change

This artwork was created for an Art Prize, “Portal of Change” was inspired by fantasy artist, Anthony Christou’s love of Surreal paintings. It represents his fear for the current world and it’s tendency to ignore the dangers of Climate Change and Environmental destruction. But also his hope that we can still change and that there is an increasing push to change. This artwork has been well received both during the competition and by those who have seen it since.

The beautiful world that is possible was inspired by one of Anthony’s trips to New Zealand where he was entranced by the magnificent environment that not even Lord of the Rings could do justice to.
