River Styx

The underworld of Greek Mythology was a fearsome place that few would dare brave while still alive. But even these hardy souls had to first convince Charon, the ferryman to take them across the River Styx which separated with underworld from the world of the living. However while the underworld was a place of death which should not be trod on lightly it would still have been a place with it’s own unique beauty.

This artwork was created by award winning fantasy artist, Anthony Christou as a way of further exploring his Cyprian/Greek heritage.
