Sea Pegasus

Horses have long been tied to the sea. A famous situation was found in Greek Mythology which thought of the sea god Poseidon as the creator of horses when he was challenged by the Earth Goddess, Demeter to create the most beautiful animal in the world. He loved this idea of the magic and grace of the ocean shown through the magic of horses, unicorns, alicorns and pegasus.

Another popular story of unicorns and the ocean was ‘The Last Unicorn’ by Peter S. Beagle, where all the unicorns in the story were trapped in the ocean.
